An entrepreneurial personality in finance is often viewed as a juxtaposition, in this case, it is valued.

A fast-growing and highly entrepreneurial real estate and living-sector business is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to join its expanding finance team.

On the back of successful growth period, the Group CFO, has created 2 new roles to best run their team, which will result in you taking ownership and reporting of a groups entities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take ownership of a significant property portfolio within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational performance, driving financial control and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

We're looking for a proactive and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will have end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of residential assets, ensuring robust financial management and delivering meaningful commercial insight.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis and financial reporting.
  • Managing rent and income processes, including collections, arrears monitoring and reconciliations.
  • Producing annual budgets, forecasts and longer-term financial plans.
  • Supporting year-end accounts, audits and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Monitoring financial controls and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Assisting with systems optimisation and ongoing finance transformation initiatives.
  • Supporting the growth of the business through clear financial analysis and reporting.

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be nearing completion).
  • Experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • The confidence to work independently and take ownership of your area.
  • Experience within property, real estate, residential, hospitality, operational living or asset-intensive sectors would be advantageous.
