Our client is a well-established and highly respected independent finance provider looking to welcome a Finance Manager to their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to kick-start their career in industry!
Responsibilities:
- Leading month-end and year-end close processes.
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Overseeing payroll administration, accounts receivable, and sales ledger activities.
- Maintaining robust financial controls and governance procedures.
- Supporting regulatory compliance and strengthening the financial control framework.
- Assisting with statutory reporting requirements and acting as a key contact during external audits.
- Providing technical accounting support and guidance to the wider finance team.
- Investigating and resolving complex accounting and reconciliation issues.
- Conducting first-line financial control testing and monitoring activities.
- Supporting finance and business-wide projects aimed at improving processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
- Driving continuous improvement across financial processes, controls, and operational efficiencies.

Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience operating within a robust financial control environment
- Practical experience working within a finance or accounting function.
- Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or a similar qualification
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience within financial services is desirable
