Our client is a fast-growing, experiential leisure and entertainment brand within the competitive socializing sector — think high-energy, game-based venues combining food, drink, and entertainment.

The estate currently spans several locations, and a number of smaller partner venues with further franchise expansion planned. It's a business with a genuinely exciting next chapter ahead as the brand scales.

This is a hands-on, all-round Finance Manager role, sitting at the centre of the business. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance operation across multiple sites and entities, working closely with senior leadership to bring structure, control, and reporting discipline to a business in an active growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable & receivable – processing and payment of supplier invoices; raising sales invoices, chasing payments, and reconciling receipts across the group
  • Management accounts – monthly preparation for each entity
  • Group banking – day-to-day oversight of all group accounts, payment runs, and reconciliations
  • Payroll – monthly processing (Access Payroll), including onboarding/offboarding and mid-month adjustments
  • Tronc management – liaising with the appointed Troncmaster to ensure accurate distribution and record-keeping
  • VAT – preparation and submission of quarterly returns across all entities
  • Creditor management – maintaining supplier relationships, payment terms, and query resolution
  • Cashflow & budgeting – maintaining the group cashflow model and annual budget, flagging variances
  • Internal reporting – weekly and monthly financial reporting to key stakeholders
  • Franchise & partner billing – raising and tracking royalty invoices, recharges, and management fees across the franchise network
  • Intercompany transactions – recording and reconciling loans, recharges, and balances across group entities
  • Expenses & credit cards – processing and coding staff expenses and company card transactions
  • Audit & compliance – maintaining accurate books and supporting year-end audit and statutory filings
  • Systems ownership – Xero (or equivalent), ensuring the chart of accounts and payroll/system integrations are properly maintained

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
