Finance Manager | Specialist UK Bank | Circa £80,000 total package | Permanent

A profitable, fast-growing UK specialist bank is looking for a qualified Finance Manager to join its finance team in Mayfair, London.

The bank holds a full UK banking licence and has built a multi-billion pound balance sheet in just a few years. It provides bespoke buy-to-let, bridging and semi-commercial property finance to property professionals, offers funding lines to non-bank lenders, and is funded by a straightforward retail savings franchise. Having reached profitability, the bank's focus is now on growing earnings and making the balance sheet work harder, and finance sits at the centre of that.

This is a broad, hands-on role for a true all-rounder. You'll work across statutory and management reporting, get close to both the lending and deposits sides of the business, and play a key part in building a reporting framework that is robust enough for a bank at this stage of growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
