About Revel Puck Circus
Revel Puck Circus is one of the most exciting contemporary circus companies in the UK. We pitch our own big top in parks and town centres and fill it with world-class acrobatics, clowning and live music, for audiences who might never set foot in a theatre. We're a not-for-profit, founded by a circus kid who grew up in Shoreditch's circus clubs, and we've been raising the roof ever since.
- 250,000+ people have seen a Revel Puck show live.
- 211 shows and 58,000+ tickets on our 2026 South East big top tour.
- Best Circus (Theatre Weekly) for The Wing-Scuffle Spectacular at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe, with 6,000+ tickets sold and five sell-out houses.
- Two awards at the Cirque de Demain festival in Paris for our original Giant Rola Bola act.
- International: a sold-out run at FOCASA in Taiwan.
- Christmas sell-outs in Walthamstow and Beckenham, and this winter a brand new stage adaptation of Quentin Blake's Clown.
The Role
We're bringing our finance function back inside the team. You'll own the books, cash, payroll and compliance day to day, join our weekly team meeting, and be the person everyone can rely on when something is "in hand". Our external accountants prepare and file the statutory accounts, corporation tax return and Theatre Tax Relief claim; you hand them a clean, complete year-end pack. We're a small core team working with up to 60 freelance artists and crew a season, from all over the world, so a big part of the job is making sure every one of them is paid right and on time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
