Finance Manager / Real Estate Lending / £70-75,000 / Central London (3 days in the office)

Our client is a well-established SME financial institution, specialising in tailored lending solutions for high-growth industries. With years of experience, they’ve built a reputation for providing strategic, agile finance options that help their clients succeed. Now, they’re looking for talented individuals to help drive their next chapter of growth.

The Role

You’ll be involved in financial reporting, management accounting and taxation — delivering accurate, timely results that steer business decisions. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll be involved in driving process improvements to keep the business ahead of the game.

What You’ll Do

  • Production of monthly management accounts.
  • Own the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Deliver accurate financial statements and lead the external audit process.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management.
  • Oversee VAT, Corporation Tax, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and automation projects.
  • Maintain strong financial controls across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with varied accounting knowledge.
  • Experience in banking, asset management, or ideally lending is preferred.
  • Excel skills - financial modelling a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A knack for improving processes and driving efficiency.
