The Role
Finatal are partnering with a high-growth, PE backed consumer business to recruit a Finance Manager. Operating a rapidly expanding multi-site estate across the UK, the business has established itself as a market leader within its sector and is entering an exciting new phase of growth and operational maturity.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will take ownership of core financial reporting, controls and business partnering activities across a growing portfolio of sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant looking to step into a highly visible role within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across a multi-site operation
- Lead month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide commercial insight on site performance, profitability and key KPIs
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes
- Drive improvements to financial controls, reporting processes and month-end efficiency
- Produce board and investor reporting packs with meaningful commentary and analysis
- Support external audit, statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements
- Analyse revenue, labour and operating cost trends, identifying opportunities to improve performance
- Assist with systems enhancements, finance transformation projects and process automation initiatives
- Support future site openings and the integration of new locations into existing reporting processes

Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience within a multi-site, retail or hospitality.
- Strong financial control and management reporting experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth business
- Commercially minded with strong business partnering capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive, hands-on and comfortable operating within a scaling environment
