An established and growing service-sector business based in Solihull is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its day-to-day finance operations and develop a small, office-based team.
Our client is a successful outsourced services business operating across the UK from its Solihull head office. The company has achieved consistent growth and has ambitious plans for its continued development.
Role Overview
Based at the company's offices in Solihull, the Finance Manager, reporting to the Finance Director, will oversee the day-to-day running of the finance department while leading and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily banking, reconciliations, and invoice-discounting schedules
- Overseeing weekly and monthly sales invoicing
- Ensuring accurate and timely purchase ledger processing
- Managing credit control and supporting strong cash collection
- Completing monthly payroll reconciliations
- Monitoring cash flow and maximizing available working capital
- Maintaining and improving financial controls and processes
- Coordinating information and acting as a key contact for external auditors
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements
Requirements
The successful Finance Manager applicant will be a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with experience managing finance operations within a busy and growing business.

- Previous experience using Sage 50
- Strong leadership and team-development capabilities
- A demonstrable record of implementing and maintaining financial controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work on site in Solihull
