SLR is a global leader in sustainability solutions, working with clients to help make sustainability happen, within a collaborative, people‑first culture.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced EMEA Finance Manager to join our established Management Accounts team, supporting high‑profile operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa within our fast‑growing, private equity‑backed environmental consultancy.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial reporting, analysis and control across multiple jurisdictions, with a particular focus on employment cost reporting — one of the organisation’s most significant cost bases.

The role

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Finance, HR, Payroll, Operations and regional teams, contributing to a dynamic, acquisitive environment with opportunities for cross‑border exposure.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Employment cost reporting and analysis
  • Operating expenditure reporting and management commentary
  • Lease accounting and compliance
  • Balance sheet control
  • Team leadership
  • Acquisition and integration support

About You

As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), you will also have strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting, along with:

  • Experience analysing large and complex employment cost bases
  • Strong understanding of balance sheet control and reconciliation processes
  • Experience working across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable

  • Experience within a private equity‑backed or acquisitive organisation
  • Experience operating in a multi‑country EMEA environment
  • Knowledge of lease accounting standards
  • Experience supporting integrations following acquisitions
  • Experience within professional services, consultancy, engineering, environmental or related sectors
