This is a Fixed Term Contract until February 2028.
Location: London, Coventry or Manchester Store Support Centre & Home. Colleagues go into the office 1-2 days per week on average.

What you'll do
As the Finance Manager – Finance Systems Transformation SAP SME focusing on R2R, you will play a pivotal role in landing the next generation of technology assets that integrate, automate, and optimise financial processes and systems across the organisation. You will work closely with finance stakeholders to support changes in accounting, reporting, and financial systems processes, ensuring process efficiency, control improvements, and data integrity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a strong understanding of current financial process flows
- Engaging in design, build, and test cycles
- Providing high-quality training material for change management
- Building strong business partnerships to support effective programme delivery
Your expertise in SAP Finance implementations and business process change, along with your ability to communicate change impacts effectively and deliver continuous improvement, will be key to the success of this ambitious change programme.
Additionally, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for process enhancement, managing risks, resolving system discrepancies, and supporting system transition while maintaining data and process integrity.
Who you are
You are an experienced professional with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP Finance implementations, business process change, and financial systems. Your strong understanding of General Ledger, Finance Master Data, Stock reports, Cost of Goods Sold, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and asset management, coupled with your expertise in the Record to Report process, enables you to drive efficiency and optimise financial processes through the adoption of new technology solutions.

Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable experience of delivering SAP Finance system implementations and business process change, including General Ledger, Finance Master Data, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the Record to Report (R2R) process including General Ledger, Profit Centre, Cost Centre, Profitability Analysis, Statutory reporting, Tax and related configuration
- Finance background with evidence of analysing, documenting and accounting for finance business processes, with an understanding of financial reporting, controls and system interfaces
- Proven ability to assess complex information, identify impacts, and communicate change requirements effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience of managing competing priorities and delivering agreed outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving project environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable criteria
- Professionally Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
