Title: Finance Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Location: Dundee (Hybrid)

Grade: 12

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our global finance team. This role will play a critical part in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and leading high-quality financial planning processes across the business. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capability, leadership experience, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key role in the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting cycles
  • Lead analysis around Operating expenses including, Labor and headcount reporting and forecasting
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Partner with senior leadership to deliver clear and actionable financial insights
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models and reporting frameworks
  • Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and reporting
  • Lead and develop members of the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all financial reporting deliverables

Essential Experience

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a related finance role
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to senior management
  • Strong business partnering capability and stakeholder management experience
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with planning tools/systems is advantageous
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
