JSS are supporting a high growth, high profile regulated Fintech payments to find a permanent Finance Manager who can come in and take ownership of my client's own core accounting, regulatory compliance, and finance transformation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare consolidated management accounts across multiple entities and currencies.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a strong financial control environment.
- Support statutory reporting and external audits.
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and settlements across the Group.
- Ensure transfer pricing processes are accurately reflected within the finance function.
- Support treasury and cash management activities where required.
- Drive automation across finance processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy – partner with other departments to help drive this change.
- Lead finance systems implementation and optimization projects.
- Improve integration between finance systems and wider business platforms, ensuring systems communicate effectively and data flows seamlessly.
- Identify inefficient processes, challenge existing practices, and implement scalable improvements.
- Develop reporting dashboards and automated workflows to provide greater insight and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Technology, and Operations.

About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- 5+ years in Finance Manager / Senior Accountant roles (complex businesses preferred)
- Proven track record implementing finance systems or leading process improvement
- Strong intercompany accounting experience
- Comfortable with regulated environments (FCA/PRA exposure a plus)
- Excel advanced; systems capability a given
Nice to Have
- Transfer pricing experience
- Direct fintech / payments sector
- Finance transformation programs
- Strong AI interest or user capability
Strong market salary with significant upside in the form of shares (can provide more context).
