Our client

The UK's onshore denim finishing hub: a tech-enabled facility in Canning Town that lets brands finish, refinish and reprocess jeans in London, in flexible volumes, without the chemicals and waste of traditional laundries is looking to appoint an experienced fractional finance professional to join on a fractional basis as the right-hand support to the Founder & CEO.

You will own the numbers, bringing rigour to management accounts and reporting to banks and investors. You will also act as a trusted sounding board on the commercial, funding and operational decisions that shape the business. This is a hands-on role in an early-stage, scaling business, suited to someone who enjoys both the detail and the bigger picture.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner and sounding board to the Founder & CEO on financial, commercial and strategic decisions
  • Turn financial data into clear insight and recommendations to support decision-making
  • Take ownership of the finance function so the CEO can focus on customers, partners and growth
  • Support business planning, budgeting and scenario modelling as the business scales

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
