Finance Manager, Dynament, Mansfield
DwyerOmega is a global leader in precision sensing, monitoring, and control technologies. Our portfolio spans pressure, temperature, flow, level, humidity, and gas detection solutions serving industrial processing, building services, life sciences, utilities, manufacturing, and energy markets worldwide.
Dynament is part of DwyerOmega and specialises in advanced gas sensing and measurement solutions. We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead day-to-day finance activity and provide accurate, timely and commercially useful insight to support operational decision-making.
This is a visible finance leadership role within an operational business, working closely with colleagues across production, engineering, sales and supply chain. You will help strengthen financial control, improve reporting and support better performance, cash generation and accountability across the site.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the monthly close process and delivering accurate management information to agreed deadlines
- Preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis and clear financial commentary
- Maintaining robust financial controls across purchasing, inventory, expenses, payroll inputs, fixed assets and balance sheet accounts
- Owning the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Monitoring working capital, cash flow, aged debt and supplier commitments
- Partnering with operational teams to understand cost drivers, improve margin visibility and support performance
- Supporting inventory accounting, stock reporting, provisions, cycle counts and variance investigations
- Coordinating audit, tax, statutory and group reporting requirements
- Improving finance processes, reporting tools, systems and data quality
- Providing guidance and prioritisation for finance colleagues

What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or Site Finance role
- Ideally, experience within a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting
- The ability to analyse financial and operational data and turn findings into clear recommendations
- A disciplined approach to financial control, process ownership and reporting deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence using ERP, reporting and consolidation systems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and influence beyond finance
- A professional accountancy qualification, part-qualified status or significant equivalent experience
