Finance Manager
Watford | £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid Working
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join a large, fast-paced business within its Group Financial Control & Reporting team. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, statutory compliance, audit management and business partnering, making it an ideal move for a practice-trained ACA/ACCA or an accountant looking to further develop their career within a high-performing finance function.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of the Group's financial reporting processes, maintaining strong financial controls and delivering accurate and compliant financial information.

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reporting month-end accounting entries including payroll, insurance, share-based payments, and cash flow reporting.
- Maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger and overseeing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Leading the preparation of complex areas of half-year and year-end external financial reporting under IFRS.
- Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinating audit deliverables across the finance team.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidation adjustments.
- Preparing subsidiary statutory accounts and supporting wider regulatory reporting requirements.
- Building strong relationships across Finance, including FP&A and Tax teams, providing valuable accounting insight to support decision-making.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting processes and controls.

About You
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Experience gained within practice or a Group Financial Reporting environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting.
- Experience preparing or auditing statutory financial statements.
- Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The confidence to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and auditors.
- A proactive, organised, and hands-on approach.
