Primary Purpose of Role
A high impact role, you will work closely with the VP Finance and FG&A team to manage day-to-day finance operations across CloudMargin's group entities - spanning bookkeeping, statutory and tax compliance, management and Board reporting, and payroll across multiple jurisdictions. You'll be exposed to a wide range of finance and commercial disciplines while also contributing to broader operational and business decision support, delivering a high-quality finance function to support growth across our global business.
Core Accountabilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping for group entities (multi-entity, multi-currency, across four international jurisdictions)
- Managing AR & AP general ledgers, including credit control
- Maintaining accurate balance sheet records
- Customer invoicing and revenue reporting
- Cash flow analysis and forecasting
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Preparing and submitting payroll data (UK and international)
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns / global sales tax
- Working with external tax and accounting service providers
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation, working alongside external auditors
- Assisting with corporate tax compliance and filings across all group jurisdictions
- Updating and maintaining finance procedural documentation
- Preparing monthly management and Board reporting
- Assisting with vendor and systems evaluations

Experience
- 3-5 year experience as qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Experience working across multi-entity/jurisdiction groups
- Experience with UK VAT (US Sales Tax experience a bonus)
- Payroll experience, ideally spanning UK and international entities
- Experience using Xero or a comparable cloud-based accounting package
- Experience producing Board reporting and commentary on performance
- Understanding of AI (or willingness to learn) and how to use as an efficiency tool
- Experience using various FP&A and planning tools
- Understanding of SaaS business model, reporting and metrics
- Experience in a small company, start-up, or fast-growth environment (or strong desire to join one)

Skills
- Commercially minded and analytical, enthused by numbers
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised - able to prioritise across multiple entities/workstreams
- IT Literate and proficient in Excel and the full MS Office suite
- Working experience with AI tools, or showcasing strong AI curiosity
- Action-oriented - can make decisions and propose solutions
- Works autonomously with good critical judgement, minimal micro-management
- Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Education / Professional Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience post ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification
