Contract length: 6 months (potential to extend)
Reports to: Executive Director, Finance
Role Overview
The Finance Manager will act as the Finance subject matter expert for all new Microsoft Dynamics 365 retail technology initiatives.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Finance, with a dotted reporting line to the Senior Manager, Compliance, Global Experiences, this is a global role supporting the US West and East Coasts, EMEA and APAC, including Japan, China and India.
The role will work closely with Finance, Technology and Operations teams to support finance systems, compliance and controls, process improvement, data integrity and optimisation.
Role Responsibilities
System Maintenance and Support
- Act as the right-hand person to the Senior Manager, Compliance, and become the Finance subject matter expert for all new Microsoft Dynamics 365 retail technology initiatives.
- Become the primary contact for global Microsoft Dynamics 365 user acceptance testing and stress testing across US, EMEA and APAC time zones.
- Keep the Senior Manager, Compliance, updated on progress and flag any risks ahead of their sign-off.
- Business partner with Technology and Operations teams to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of retail line-of-business systems and their daily interfaces with SAP for record-to-report activities.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide training and support to finance and non-finance colleagues.

Compliance and Controls
- Support the Senior Manager, Compliance, with internal and external audits, including audit planning, supporting evidence and risk mitigation.
- Develop strong working relationships with the Poland Corporate Finance team to optimise efficiency.
- Provide cover for the Senior Manager, Compliance, in relation to external audit queries, finance system compliance matters and ad hoc tasks.
Process Improvement
- Analyse existing finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and controls through technology.
- Automate manual tasks and streamline workflows where appropriate.
- Support remediation initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Data Integrity and Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data interfaces between retail line-of-business systems and SAP.
Optimisation and Refinement
- Identify opportunities and champion automation, advanced analytics and process optimisation to improve efficiency and provide deeper financial insights.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in global rollout plans and integration with business ERP systems.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP.
- Flexibility to work across different time zones as required. This is a global role supporting the US West and East Coasts, EMEA and APAC, including Japan, China and India.
- Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
- Experience of working in a global matrix environment.
Desirable
- A retail or FMCG background is preferred.
