Potensis is pleased to partner with a trusted and respected Residential Developer who have developed an enviable reputation for consistently delivering high end, complex and design led projects throughout the country for over 20 years. Due to expansion, they are looking to attract and recruit a Finance Manager who can work as a key member of the Finance team and help the business achieve its long term growth plans.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts, monthly journals and account analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecasts.
  • Work as the secondary divisional contact, covering for the Finance Director as required.
  • Ensure that all cash flow forecasts are as accurate as possible.
  • Implement and oversee regional financial policies aligned with Group standards to ensure robust governance.
  • Provide financial insight at local Board and Valuation Review meetings to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance system efficiency.
  • Manage the interim and year end process with external auditors through to sign off for the division and prepare divisional reporting returns.

  • Experience of working within a similar role would be preferred.
  • Experience of working with accountancy software.
  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Financial modelling and proficient IT skills (Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
