We are hiring a Manager II for our London office. As Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounting and taxation for all Kroll UK entities. This individual should be capable of managing a team of 3 members. It’s important for this individual to take responsibility for all tasks and, often, confidential financial decisions, so must be able to handle sensitive financial matters with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly and prioritization and year end EMEA close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage general ledger staff, including coaching, mentoring and creating subject matter experts
- Review balance sheet account reconciliations and journal entries for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with ad hoc information requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Support Finance costs budget preparation and subsequent variance analysis
- Interact with external auditors providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations
- Special projects to enhance controls, processes and accuracy
- Perform other related duties as directed by the EMEA Financial Controller

Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least two years of related post qualified accounting experience (including time as a manager of others) preferably in a services company environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent in Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables), and experience of Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Adaptive and Blackline beneficial
