Harmonic are delighted to be working with a globally renowned live events business, in the search for a Finance Manager during an exciting period of growth. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, qualified accountant to have genuine ownership and influence within a rapidly scaling environment.

Our client is an industry leader within the premium, international live entertainment space, successfully built on a passion for audiences, artistry and delivering exceptional live experiences. In a relatively short space of time, they have grown into a major force across the sector, with interests spanning new verticals, as well as acquisitions across the industry.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role plays a key part in the effective functioning of the finance team, providing high-quality support across the department and business. This is a newly prioritised hire following a period of change within the team, and the successful candidate will bring the gravitas and credibility to be a leader the team can look up to.

The role leads a team of 3, with the primary focus set on collaborating closely with the senior finance team, while autonomy handling the duties listed below:
Main Duties
- Lead and manage a team of 3, setting clear performance objectives, identifying development needs and building a high-performing finance function
- Oversee the delivery of timely and accurate weekly production accounts
- Oversee the completion of monthly management accounts and other group returns
- Ensure technical accounting and taxation considerations
- Oversee accurate reporting and high-quality cashflow forecasting
- Ensure compliance across the department from a taxation and company administration perspective
- Act as a key point of contact for the annual audit, liaising with auditors
- Review weekly payment runs and ensure a smooth relationship with the purchase ledger and payroll teams
- Contribute to the budget and re-forecasting process, and identify and design process improvement projects as required

Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- A background in live events, live music, museums, galleries, theatre
- Strong technical background and expertise
- Previous line management experience
- Time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadline
- Strong stakeholder management skills
Salary
£65,000 – £75,000 plus bonus.

South West London (2 days in office)
