Reed Finance are working exclusively with a successful SME based in Yate to recruit a Finance Manager.
Salary up to £60,000 | Role in based on-site in Yate | Lovely team
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a well-established business in a hands-on role.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial management, reporting and control of the business, providing clear, accurate and timely information to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the operational side of a business and wants to make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPI reporting.
- Manage a small established Finance team (3).
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Provide commercial analysis to identify trends, opportunities and profitability improvements.
- Monitor working capital performance, cash flow and overall business performance.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and business insight.
- Maintain strong financial controls, compliance, VAT and year-end audit processes.
- Develop and improve financial reporting, dashboards and ERP system outputs.
- Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficiencies across the finance function.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide clear financial guidance and challenge where appropriate.
- Promote financial awareness and accountability throughout the business.

We are keen to hear from candidates who are:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experienced in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial analysis.
- Proven experience within an SME environment.
- Hands-on, proactive and accountable.
