Finance Manager - Highly Successful PE-backed Financial Services Business - Central London Based (Flexible working)

Cedar is partnered with a highly successful, PE-backed Financial Services business to appoint a Finance Manager. The role pays £60,000 to £65,000 and is based in Central London, with two to four days flexible working per week in the office. Our client is a high-growth Financial Services business operating in a complex, multi-entity environment. The finance function is continuing to evolve alongside the wider business, with a strong focus on improving reporting, controls, processes, and overall efficiency.

The role reports directly into the CFO and sits within a high-calibre team and offers broad exposure across finance, commercial, and operational stakeholders. This Finance Manager will take ownership of a broad range of reporting, analysis, FP&A, control, and statutory responsibilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across multiple entities
  • Month-end close and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Overseeing statutory accounts and supporting the external audit process
  • Supporting FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting activity
  • Key business partner to the various business units
  • Working closely with wider finance and operational teams on key projects
  • Strengthening financial controls, reporting processes, and governance
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify and automate existing processes
  • Producing clear analysis and supporting senior finance stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • Recently qualified accountant ACA from a top ten accountancy practice
  • Strong financial reporting and control background
  • Experience within a complex, multi-entity organization
  • Good technical accounting knowledge
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable improving processes within a fast-moving environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
