π International Engineering Group
Are you a hands-on Finance Manager who enjoys getting stuck into the detail rather than simply overseeing the numbers? Do you enjoy improving financial processes, resolving problems and bringing structure to a growing business?
I'm supporting an established engineering and manufacturing business in the appointment of a Finance Manager.
The organisation designs and manufactures specialist engineered equipment and solutions for customers operating across the global energy sector.
Part of a larger international group, the business is currently bringing together its finance activities across multiple locations, creating an opportunity for someone to take ownership, introduce improvements and make a genuine impact.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting the integration of finance processes across the organisation.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
