Hays are delighted to be partnering with a leading international organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a commercially focused finance team, providing financial leadership and business partnering support across key operational areas.

Your new role

This role will suit a proactive and commercially minded individual who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving business performance through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes for designated business areas.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities and key trends.
  • Own and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust financial controls and governance.
  • Deliver detailed management reporting, variance analysis and performance commentary.
  • Support board reporting and provide financial insight to senior leadership teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Provide commercial support around pricing, cost modelling and investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior finance team members where required.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a 3-4 year-post-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong commercial finance and business partnering experience. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. The ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insights. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills. A proactive and adaptable approach within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience working in a 400-500M TO business ideally within the Technology sector.
