Our client, a leading hospitality group, is looking for a talented Finance Manager to join their London team during an exciting period of growth in a newly created role. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the lead finance presence across the project and play a crucial role in establishing the finance function during the pre-revenue stage. This is a hands-on, visible role with accountability for financial reporting, analysis, and operational insight across the key revenue streams.
Description
The responsibilities of the Finance Manager role include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, reviewing all information provided by the outsourced provider.
- Oversee payment processes, cash management, and banking controls.
- Support external audits and respond to requests accordingly.
- Partner with operational leaders across the business to provide critical financial insight.
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, management reporting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
- Monitor key financial drivers, including revenue, profitability, labor costs, inventory, etc.
- Build finance processes, designing and implementing controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and the implementation of scalable workflows.
- Maintain a visible presence across the business to understand operational performance.

Skills
The skills of the Finance Manager role include but are not limited to:
- Strong management accountant experience with the ability to produce accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Previous experience working in hospitality, ideally with different revenue streams, is essential.
- Ability to work independently and build processes from scratch.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel and Xero proficiency.
- Experience with payment platforms, banking systems, and payment processing tools.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
