About Our Client
Our client is a leading industrial player in Africa.
Job Description
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements in Kenya and Tanzania
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and inventory performance
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to support business growth and profitability
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management procedures
- Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with banks and regulatory authorities
- Analyze business performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
- Lead, mentor, and develop local finance teams

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of finance management experience within distribution, FMCG, retail, trading, or similar sectors
- Experience working across multiple African countries is essential
- Strong understanding of East African business environments
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills
- Fluent in English; Swahili is an advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region
