About Our Client

Our client is a leading industrial player in Africa.

Job Description

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements in Kenya and Tanzania
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
  • Monitor working capital, cash flow, and inventory performance
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to support business growth and profitability
  • Develop and implement financial controls and risk management procedures
  • Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with banks and regulatory authorities
  • Analyze business performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop local finance teams

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of finance management experience within distribution, FMCG, retail, trading, or similar sectors
  • Experience working across multiple African countries is essential
  • Strong understanding of East African business environments
  • Excellent analytical and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English; Swahili is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region
