Finance Manager - Real Estate Fintech
JSS are working with a leading Fintech focussed on the real estate sector.
The business is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of a high-performing finance function and play a key role in supporting business growth.
This role suits an ambitious self-starter who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, someone who can confidently engage senior stakeholders, develop people and processes, and roll up their sleeves when needed.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing finance team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations while actively coaching and building capability within the function
- Take full ownership of the finance function, including financial systems, controls, processes and reporting
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, key performance and risk reporting, and half-year and year-end financial statements
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing clear financial insight, challenge and support to inform decision-making
- Drive improvements in efficiency and scalability by identifying process gaps, implementing automation, and standardising workflows
- Deputise for the Head of Finance, providing leadership continuity and senior-level support as required

What we’re looking for

- Fully qualified accountant with strong post-qualification experience
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with confidence influencing and challenging at leadership level
- Proven experience managing, developing and improving a finance team and finance function
- A hands-on, pragmatic operator who is comfortable getting into the detail when required
- Commercially minded, solutions-focused and calm under pressure
- A leader who enjoys improving how things work and making a tangible impact
Hybrid role – one day per week in the Oxford office.
