Job Summary

Support the Controller in delivering accurate internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, governance, and corporate policy requirements across the UK and Ireland entities. The role will also contribute to ongoing legal entity restructuring activities and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Prepare and support the timely and accurate reporting of monthly management accounts for UK and Irish entities.
  • Assist with the annual audit process by providing financial information and responding to auditor requests.
  • Review statutory financial statements prepared by the external statutory accounts team and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain quarterly tax reporting packs and supporting documentation.
  • Support the timely completion and filing of corporation tax returns for UK and Irish legal entities.
  • Collaborate with the Controller on ad hoc analyses, special projects, and process improvement initiatives across multiple geographical regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of local finance processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, regional, and local accounting policies, internal controls, and governance requirements.
  • Provide additional controllership support arising from legal entity restructuring activities, including increased compliance, reporting, and governance responsibilities.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) completed or in progress.
  • Experience in financial reporting, controllership, audit, accounting, or corporate finance environments.
  • Strong understanding of statutory accounting principles and financial statement review.
  • Knowledge of UK and/or Irish tax and compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across finance and business teams.

How Would You Stand Out?

  • Experience supporting multi-entity or multinational organizations.
  • Previous involvement in legal entity restructuring, governance, or compliance projects.
  • Experience working in a shared service center or global corporate environment.
