Finance Manager – 100% Remote Working

£45,000 - £55,000 | 100% Work From Home – UK Based

No commute. No compulsory office days. No hybrid small print.

This is a genuinely 100% remote Finance Manager opportunity for an experienced finance professional who wants the flexibility of working entirely from home without compromising on responsibility, influence, or career development.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while playing an important role in the commercial and strategic direction of the business.

You'll be trusted to manage your workload, own the numbers, and provide the financial insight senior leadership needs to make better business decisions.

What you'll be responsible for

This is a broad, hands-on role covering the complete finance function, including:

  • Management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Developing and maintaining accurate cash flow forecasts
  • Accounts payable, receivable and general ledger oversight
  • Payroll management and compliance
  • Working capital and cash management
  • Cost accounting and commercial analysis
  • Providing financial insight directly to the CEO and senior leadership team
  • Reviewing business cases and supporting investment decisions
  • Financial risk management and internal controls
  • External audit coordination and compliance
  • Maintaining finance procedures in line with ISO 9001:2015
  • Improving financial systems, processes and reporting
  • Potential management and development of a small finance team

What we're looking for

You'll already be operating as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or experienced senior finance professional and be comfortable taking genuine ownership of a finance function.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow capability
  • Experience across transactional finance and payroll
  • Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge
  • Commercial awareness and confidence working with senior leadership
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • The organisation and self-motivation to thrive working remotely
  • An entrepreneurial, solutions-focused approach
  • A sleeves-rolled-up, can-do attitude

ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified with a great balance of technical and commercial accounting is welcomed.
