Supporting the financial integrity, compliance, and reporting requirements across our UK.

You'll play a key role in month-end activities, statutory reporting, tax compliance, technical accounting, and continuous improvement initiatives, backed by the stability, investment, and innovation from the group. The role will also include FP&A and projects.

Description

  • Lead month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare technical accounting entries, including tax adjustments and provisions.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial insight and financial support.
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and strong financial controls.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and re forecasting activities.
  • Prepare VAT returns and statutory accounts (IFRS & FRS 102).
  • Support audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Assist with acquisitions, due diligence, and integration projects.

Profile

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and management accounts.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
