Job Description

ACCIONA INDUSTRIAL UK LIMITED is looking to appoint a Finance Manager based in Kelvin Way, West Bromwich, B70 7JR on a duration of 6-months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the reporting and preparation of economic and financial reports in accordance with the economic reality of the project.
  • Budget control. Deviation analysis. Detection of risks and opportunities and action on them.
  • Responsible for the companies that are part of the corporate structure of the project (SPV and Trust). Responsible for their EEFF and audits. Responsible for the correct filing and settlement of local taxes.
  • Control of endorsements and guarantees (client and suppliers).
  • Follow-up of invoicing, control of collection milestones.
  • Treasury management, collections and payments. Placement of cash surpluses.
  • Cash flow monitoring. Analysis of deviations.
  • Responsible for Accounts Payable.
  • Supervise accounting.

Required Skills and Competencies

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Financial Manager within high-value, complex industrial new-build projects.
  • Strong understanding of the financial management requirements associated with major capital projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.
  • Experience operating within complex project environments and managing financial activities across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Ability to hit the ground running, quickly understand the project’s financial position and take ownership of key financial management responsibilities.
  • Experience working at an advanced stage of a major project, with the ability to identify financial risks, provide accurate financial insight and support effective decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.
