Finance Manager - Care Industry

Location: London (Office-Based)
Salary: £55,000 per annum + Annual Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong commercial and operational mindset to lead and develop their finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation within the care sector and play a key role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and business growth.

The ideal candidate will have proven finance management experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for technology and process improvement. This role offers genuine long-term career progression, with the opportunity to develop into a Financial Controller or Finance Director position as the business continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, and financial reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement data-driven financial strategies to support business objectives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and other departments to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, policies, and reporting requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of digital and cloud-based technologies to improve financial processes and efficiencies across the group.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing finance staff.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen.
  • Experience using financial systems and technology to improve performance.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
