As the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands including Birra Moretti, Cruzcampo, Foster’s, Inch’s and Strongbow, we are looking for equally brilliant people to help us on our journey to building a better future.
We’re looking for an On Trade Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team. If you’re a commercially minded Finance leader who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, developing people and turning numbers into decisions, this could be your next move.
“This is a fantastic business partnering role where you get to work closely with the On Trade Management team, Revenue Management, the sales teams and lead a team of competent Finance colleagues, jointly finding ways to get the best result for HEINEKEN, our customers and consumers!” – Femi, Head of Commercial Finance
About The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, you'll be the lead Finance partner for our On Trade business, working closely with the On Trade leadership team, Revenue Management and our dynamic Sales team.
More than 40% of our volume is sold through the On-Trade channel. This is where we build fantastic connections with our consumers via activations across multiple platforms, e.g. Foster’s Darts, Heineken Champions League, etc. You will manage a team across a variety of unique route-to-market (RTMs), from the Nationals (Stonegate, Greene King, etc.) to Wholesale, HORECA, and the independent free trade; there’s always plenty to get involved in!
You'll provide performance management, planning and commercial insight across the function, helping the business understand performance, identify opportunities and risks, and make better commercial decisions.
You'll also be a member of the On Trade Management Team, working directly with senior leaders including the On Trade Director.
This is a role where you'll have the opportunity to influence commercial decisions, challenge thinking and help shape how we deliver profitable growth across the On Trade business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
