Role Purpose

This is a dynamic and senior business partnering role, pivotal to the profitability of our fast-growing Morrisons.com channels. As a key financial expert for all Morrisons online channels (Storepick, CFC and MorrisonsNow), your purpose is to provide robust financial leadership, challenge commercial decisions, and expedite the centralisation of controls and reporting to ensure sustainable growth and a healthy bottom line through focussed business partnering.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving Profitability: Provide in-week analysis and challenge on commercial performance, ensuring every pound spent is adding value and identifying opportunities to maximise the bottom line across all partner channels.
- Commercial & Operational Challenge: Use data-driven analysis to inform and challenge promotional performance, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies within the immediacy partner channels.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Lead on the budgeting and forecasting work for Storepick, CFC and Morrisons Now, ensuring financial plans are robust, accurate, and aligned with wider business strategy.
- Leading Business Partnership: Act as the primary financial business partner to the Senior Manager for Online and their team, providing strategic insights and challenges to optimise commercial performance.
- Influencing Senior Leadership: Regularly interact and present key financial insights and recommendations to the Online Executive Director, building your profile and influencing decision-making at the highest level.
- Expediting Centralisation: Take a pivotal role in expediting the centralisation of controls and reporting, actively driving process improvements and laying the groundwork for a more efficient, future-proofed team structure.
- Delivering Accurate Reporting: Produce comprehensive P&L, sales, and margin reports for Morrisons.com channels, ensuring accuracy and providing clear, concise commentary on performance.

What We’re Looking For
We need a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in a business partnering role. This is an important position requiring an individual who is ready to take ownership, drive change, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
You’ll also bring:
