About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to play a key role in a major ERP transformation programme, with responsibility for the Procure to Pay process across direct/stock procurement.
The role will focus on the end-to-end process from supplier management and purchase orders through to goods receipt, invoice verification and settlement. You will bring strong hands-on Finance and stock procurement experience, alongside previous experience supporting ERP or Finance systems implementations.
You will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Technology and wider business teams to design and embed future-state processes, support testing and ensure the solution meets operational and financial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and support the future-state P2P process for direct/stock procurement.
- Provide Finance input across supplier management, purchase orders, pricing, goods receipt, invoice verification and settlement.
- Support fit-to-standard workshops and identify process gaps and improvements.
- Define business processes, controls, roles, authorisations and exception handling.
- Ensure effective integration between procurement, inventory, supply chain and Finance processes.
- Support the definition and validation of interfaces between the ERP and third-party systems.
- Develop business requirements and support solution design where standard processes do not meet requirements.
- Define and coordinate SIT, UAT, regression and data migration testing.
- Support defect resolution, testing sign-off, training and go-live.
- Provide business support through hypercare and early-life support.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
