We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager who wants a genuine part-time role with real ownership.

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function across a growing group of specialist recruitment businesses - keeping the fundamentals running properly while helping us improve our reporting, processes and financial visibility.

What You’ll Cover

  • Client invoicing, supplier bills, expenses and receipts
  • Credit control and reconciliations
  • Xero management and coding
  • Contractor billing and timesheets
  • Payroll, commissions and bonus calculations
  • Month-end, cash-flow and management reporting
  • Improving finance processes, controls and automation
  • Monthly and quarterly financial reporting to leadership, providing clear visibility of revenue, profitability, cash flow, costs, debtors and overall financial performance.

Who We’re Looking For

This is not a step-up role for a Finance Assistant. We’re looking for someone who has already worked as a Finance Manager, or in a similarly autonomous role, and can confidently take ownership from day one.

  • Strong Xero experience
  • Broad SME finance experience
  • Comfortable with management reporting and explaining the numbers
  • Commercial, organised and proactive
  • Recruitment, staffing or professional services experience would be useful but is not essential

This is a part-time position, with the days/hours worked open to discussion. We are based in London and would like a hybrid model, but again open to discussion.

Salary range: £40-50,000 - Pro-Rata.
