An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing international pharmaceutical business.

This is a broad and hands-on role that will take ownership of financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury, audit management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls within the UK operation.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality financial insight to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare statutory and management accounts in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements.
  • Manage corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate and manage external and internal audits.
  • Oversee cash flow management, banking activities, and treasury reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Review contracts, financial documentation, and commercial agreements from a finance perspective.
  • Manage inventory accounting and financial reporting activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and insight to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a key finance contact for stakeholders across the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualified Accountant (essential).
  • Essential experience working within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, taxation, and financial controls.
  • Experience managing audits and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
