Role Description
The Finance Manager (Processes & Month-End) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing core finance operations and ensuring accurate, timely month-end reporting. Day-to-day tasks include managing the month-end close process, reviewing and posting journals, reconciling key balance sheet accounts, and preparing management reports to support decision-making. The role also involves designing, documenting, and improving finance processes, implementing controls, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure financial data integrity. This position works closely with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow monitoring, while identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting quality.

- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Process improvement and internal control skills, with the ability to design, document, and optimise finance workflows.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools to support accurate reporting and insights.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Relevant professional qualification or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
- Experience in events, entertainment, or the music industry is an advantage, as is prior work in fast-growing or entrepreneurial organisations.
