Contract Finance Manager — Fully Remote (Outside IR35)
Ozria Consulting · Fully remote (UK) · 3-4 days a week · £200-250/day · 3 months initially, with a long-term contract relationship for the right person
Ozria Consulting provides fractional finance and CFO support to a portfolio of clients across creative, PR, health and professional services. We're a small, modern practice built on Xero and utilising AI, and we're growing. We're looking for an experienced accountant or finance manager to work directly alongside our Managing Director across several client engagements.

What you'll do
- Monthly management accounts and board packs for multiple clients
- Year-end working papers and audit files, liaising with auditors through to sign-off
- Bringing behind-schedule ledgers up to date: reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, intercompany
- VAT, payroll journals and cash flow reporting
- Managing client queries and keeping work moving to agreed deadlines
What we're looking for
- Solid hands-on experience in management accounts and year-end. Qualifications are welcome but not required; what matters is that you know what you're doing
- Strong Xero skills and confident in Excel
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or similar) day to day for drafting, reconciliation checks and analysis
- Experience preparing audit files, ideally for groups or multi-entity structures
- Able to manage several clients at once and pick up untidy books without a set process
- Clear communicator who can deal with clients directly and knows when to escalate
