The Financial Manager Role

The Financial Manager role involves overseeing financial planning and analysis to support business decisions in the manufacturing sector. You'll play a key part in managing budgets, forecasting, and providing insights that help the business achieve its goals.

Description

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to guide business planning.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support decision-making through in-depth financial modelling and analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial alignment across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and develop a small team to support financial operations.
  • Present financial reports and findings to senior management.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage and develop a team.
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing sector is a plus.

  • Salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 dependent on the level of experience.
