Finance Manager
Lanarkshire
Salary: £50,000 - £58,000 (DOE)
Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be supporting a professional services organisation based in North Lanarkshire to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an exciting role with a thriving organisation with considerable growth and investment in the sector. The Finance Manager will join an experienced team on a hybrid working basis within an ambitious and progressive environment. This role will oversee a portfolio of projects ensuring financial management and compliance across end-end financial activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and reconciling core financial records across ledgers and systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintaining accruals, prepayments, and amortisation workings.
- Preparing management accounts, including variance analysis against budget.
- Overseeing cash book and loan schedule maintenance.
- Preparing statutory accounts and supporting documentation for year-end audits.
- Presenting finance reports to shareholders at quarterly project board meetings.
- Maintaining financial models and preparing budgets and cash flow forecasting.

The Finance Manager will be given a generous benefits package from a salary of £50,000 - £58,000 per annum with hybrid working, 33 days holiday, bonus, and private health cover. Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Candidates from both industry and accountancy practice backgrounds are welcome.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Confidence to challenge assumptions and improve processes.
- Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all financial activities.
