Finance Manager Kier Sizewell C
Kier is looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing Nuclear & Energy business unit and play a key role in the successful delivery of Sizewell C. As the business targets significant growth over the next three years, including revenues of more than £300m by 2030, Sizewell C will be central to that ambition, supported by more than £30bn of investment over the next 15 years. It is a visible finance business partnering role, acting as the main finance contact for the project and working closely with central finance, payroll, procurement, accounts payable and wider support functions.
Kier is committed to creating a workplace where everyone is empowered to achieve their career goals. Our people are at the heart of our business, using their skills and creativity to provide solutions and services to our clients and customers. We are only able to deliver our business goals because of the commitment and talent of our people working together to a common purpose. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
