Finance Manager

Confidential Private Family Office

Hybrid - London (1 day p/w), Kent (1-2 days p/w), 2 days WFH

£45-50k + Bonus

A confidential appointment on behalf of a high-profile private individual with business interests across media, manufacturing and hospitality. Reporting directly to the FD, the Finance Manager will be a trusted partner to these businesses, combining rigorous management reporting, commercial analysis and proactive business partnering across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities as Finance Manager:

  • Own the full management reporting cycle – monthly accounts, variance analysis and budgets, across all key commercial enterprises.
  • Monitor cash flow; maintain financial controls and governance across all relevant entities and compliance obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax obligations
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to provide the necessary information for 3 legal entities.
  • Act as the principal’s trusted financial partner – translating complex data into clear commercial insight to drive confident decision-making.
  • Collaborate with creative, production, and commercial teams on budgets and scenario analysis.
  • Account for internal transactions, sales and purchases. Liaising with other teams to ensure accurate inventory management and cost of sales.
  • Handle all matters with absolute discretion.

Skills & Experience:

  • Part/newly-qualified accountant with proven experience in a combined management reporting and business partnering role.
  • Strong commercial acumen; track record of influencing senior stakeholders and translating financial insight into clear narrative.
  • Some experience in at least one of the three industries in scope (media, hospitality and manufacturing).
  • Moderate Excel skills; experience with Xero and Power BI (or similar platforms) are highly desirable.
