Join a dynamic finance team where you'll take ownership of statutory reporting, lead the month-end process, and drive financial accuracy across the organisation. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining strong internal controls and overseeing the delivery of a high-quality finance service.
Requirements
- ACCA or CIMA qualified or working towards completion of qualification.
- Proven previous experience as a Finance Manager or similar roles.
Financial Operations
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and Bank processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Oversee cash management, including monitoring cash flow, reviewing cash forecasts, and optimising liquidity.
- Coordinate month-end closing processes, ensuring all the entries are processed and posted on time.
- Utilise Microsoft D365 F&O (“PawPoint”) financial system to effectively manage nominal codes and trial balances for the month-end/year-end process.

Reconciliations and Reporting
- Review bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Lead balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the process and reconciliation of deferred income, accruals, and prepayments.
- Oversee fixed assets management, including depreciation calculations and reconciliation.
Compliance and Controls
- Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Supporting the Financial Controller in implementing financial controls and processes and ensuring relevant teams follow these.
Leadership and General Responsibilities
- Demonstrate attention to detail while maintaining focus on the big-picture objectives of the organisation.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Take on ad hoc duties and special projects to support organisational goals.
