Finance Manager | £65k–£75k | Central London

📍 Hybrid working - Central London office

I’m currently working on a Finance Manager opportunity with a growing business looking for someone hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented to strengthen its finance function and support its continued growth.

This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, enhance financial reporting and controls, and play a key role in building a consistent, high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving improvements across financial reporting, month-end processes, and internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial information
  • Coordinating year-end reporting and statutory compliance requirements, working closely with external advisers
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, monitoring financial transactions, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
  • Improving financial controls, reporting accuracy, and consistency across finance operations
  • Communicating key financial requirements, issues, and observations to stakeholders across the business
  • Working closely with senior leaders and wider teams to support business decisions and ongoing growth
  • Coaching and developing junior finance team members
  • Driving continuous improvement across finance systems, processes, and reporting

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification, with 2-6 years’ experience in financial management
  • Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Multi-currency experience preferred
  • Xero experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong overall IT capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Strong project management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge constructively and find solutions
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and help build robust finance processes as the business grows
