Job Description
The Finance Manager UK will provide operational and technical finance leadership across the UK business, with responsibility for financial reporting, control, treasury, and governance. Reporting to the Head of Finance UK—who retains overall finance leadership and senior strategic accountability—the role will also support business initiatives, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting and control, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, balance-sheet governance, reconciliations, and segment analysis.
- Coordinate external audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare financial reporting, analysis, and presentations for the UK Board of Directors.
- Oversee treasury and liquidity across the UK legal-entity portfolio, including bonds, guarantees, and related financial obligations.
- Manage the governance of a subsidiary Pension Scheme, working with trustees, advisers, and other stakeholders.
- Support business-performance reporting, financial decision-making, and strategic initiatives led by the Head of Finance UK.
- Work across the UK finance team and collaborate across the wider Europe Finance organisation to strengthen processes, consistency, and financial governance.

Qualifications
- A recognised professional accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and control expertise, together with experience of statutory reporting, audit, and treasury.
- Experience managing liquidity, balance-sheet integrity, and financial obligations within a complex or multi-entity organisation.
- Proven people-leadership capability and a commitment to developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, boards, trustees, advisers, and cross-functional colleagues.
- Sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to combine operational delivery with support for strategic and process-improvement initiatives.
- Experience in the energy sector or another complex international business would be advantageous.
- A responsible, collaborative, and impact-focused approach aligned with Statkraft’s values.
