Job Description

Are you a qualified finance professional looking for a broad leadership role with responsibility for both financial performance and working capital management?

We are seeking a Finance Manager to support our UK & Ireland Service business. Working closely with the Business Controller, you will act as the finance lead for our branch network, partnering with Branch Managers to drive performance through insightful reporting, forecasting, planning and commercial challenge, while ensuring strong financial control and governance.

Alongside this, you will lead the Accounts Receivable function across our UK and Ireland entities, managing a team of four and driving the continuous improvement of cash collection, credit risk management and working capital performance. This is more than a traditional Credit Management role. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh thinking, challenge established processes and help shape the future direction of the function through new ideas, stronger controls and a focus on delivering measurable results.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to influence, challenge and drive change across both finance and operational teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
