Finance Manager

Salary: £90,000 + bonus and benefits
Sector: Financial Services
Location: City, London (hybrid working)

Venator Search are recruiting for an international financial services broker who’s looking to add a Finance Manager to its Group External Reporting team. Reporting to the Head of External Reporting, you will have broad exposure across Group reporting and consolidation, alongside involvement in M&A activity and the integration of newly acquired businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual Group reporting and consolidation.
  • Prepare consolidation journals, including intercompany eliminations, deferred tax, and other adjustments.
  • Review P&L and balance sheet movements, investigating and resolving variances.
  • Support technical accounting matters, including IFRS 15 and Group accounting papers.
  • Assist with M&A accounting and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and associated reporting.
  • Work with external auditors and internal finance teams throughout the reporting cycle.

The Candidate

  • Qualified Accountant with strong post-qualified experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Experience of large, multi-currency Group consolidations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
