Interim Finance Manager

12-Month Interim Contract

£325–£375 per day (Inside IR35)

Central London – Hybrid Working (1–2 Days On-Site)

We're supporting a fast-growing technology business operating within the digital sector that is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager on an interim basis to provide maternity cover.

This is a broad, hands-on role with full ownership of the day-to-day finance function. Working closely with the CFO, you'll oversee everything from month-end reporting, financial control, budgeting, cash flow, payroll, and compliance through to supporting commercial decision making across the business. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable operating autonomously, and can quickly become a trusted member of a small, high-performing finance team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the finance function across UK and international entities. This is a genuine all-round Finance Manager position where no two days are the same.

You'll lead the month-end process, oversee transactional finance, manage payroll, produce management accounts, monitor cash flow, ensure statutory compliance, and partner with department heads to support budgeting and commercial performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
