Finance Manager / Bicester / £60,000 - £70,000

Working in partnership with the Financial Controller, you will support the delivery of accurate financial reporting across a high-end, high-tech manufacturing business.

The role will have a broad remit across financial accounting, reporting, controls, and business partnering, with the opportunity to work closely with both Finance and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered within deadlines.
  • Prepare and review financial journals, reconciliations, and balance sheet information.
  • Work closely with operational teams to understand financial performance and provide insightful analysis and commentary.
  • Support the wider Finance team with analysis of actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and processes, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, systems, and controls.
  • Work closely with the business to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial information used for management reporting.

Profile

It is essential the candidate is a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capability.
  • Able to work closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
